18 months ago, we shipped the first Borweld Smart machine to a customer.
For us, it wasn’t just about selling a machine. It marked the beginning of a new phase—the transition from a company that performs on-site repairs of heavy equipment on a daily basis to a manufacturer of its own machines, designed based on real-world experience in the field.
Today, after 18 months, we can say that Borweld Smart is now operating in 15 countries, and we have delivered 70 machines to our customers.
That’s an important number for us. But what we’ve learned during that time is even more important.

The machine was the result of actual work, not just a design
Borweld has been performing borehole rehabilitation on heavy equipment for years. We work on construction, agricultural, industrial, forestry, marine, and port machinery.
We repair holes and refurbish sockets for bushings and pins, as well as arms, buckets, and mounts. We often do this without dismantling large machine components, without transporting the equipment to a workshop, and under conditions where the equipment must return to service as quickly as possible.
That’s exactly why we know exactly what someone who actually uses this kind of machine needs.
A mobile boring machine can’t just look good in a photo. It must be easy to transport. It must be quick to set up. It must operate reliably. It must be easy for the operator to understand. It must withstand real-world working conditions—on a construction site, in a workshop, at a port, or next to agricultural or industrial machinery.
Borweld Smart was created based on exactly this approach.
70 machines, 15 countries, and a wealth of practical knowledge

A lot has changed since we shipped the first unit. Every subsequent machine, every conversation with a customer, and every technical report provided us with new information.
Thanks to our customers and our daily work, we have developed Borweld Smart step by step.
We refined the design. We improved elements that could work better. We changed details that, in practice, turned out to be more important than they seemed during the design phase. We worked on ease of use, durability, assembly, and additional tools.
Today, the latest version of Borweld Smart is the result not only of technical design, but also of 18 months of hands-on work, customer feedback, and experiences from various countries.
That’s a huge difference.
Not everything was perfect—and that’s exactly why we’re better
During that time, there were also technical problems, glitches, and things that needed to be fixed.
We don’t hide it.
Every manufacturer that produces a real product and sends it out to operate under various conditions will, sooner or later, encounter situations that require a response. For us, one thing has always been the most important: if a problem involved our machine, we treated it as our responsibility.
If a device was delivered to a customer and then, for some reason, something stopped working—we did everything we could to resolve the issue.
Even if the machine was located far from Poland. Even if it required additional parts, consultations, shipping, technicians’ work, or costs on our end.
That is how we understand the manufacturer’s responsibility.
For us, selling a machine doesn’t mark the end of our relationship with the customer. On the contrary—that’s when the relationship really begins.
The customer isn’t just buying a machine
Borweld Smart is a device. But for us, the device itself isn’t everything.
Customers who choose Borweld also benefit from the expertise of a team that performs borehole rehabilitation every day.
This means hands-on training, technical support, assistance with your first projects, answers to your questions, and the opportunity to connect with people who truly understand this service.
We’re not the kind of company that just designs a machine at a desk and ships it out into the world.
We work with heavy equipment ourselves. We perform repairs ourselves. We see firsthand what operators, mechanics, and service companies have to deal with. That’s why we know what equipment makes sense, what tools are worth developing, and what can make field work easier.
We’re applying this experience to the development of Borweld Smart.
We’re upgrading not only our machines but also our equipment
Over the past 18 months, we have been developing more than just the machine itself.
We have also been working on equipment, accessories, and tools that help make hole restoration faster, more convenient, and more precise.
We develop new solutions because we identify practical needs. If, during work, it turns out that an operator needs a better tool for alignment, measurement, clamping, or a specific type of repair—we analyze the situation and look for a solution.
As a result, Borweld Smart is not a closed-off product. It is a system that is constantly evolving.
Each new version of the machine is better than the last. Every new tool is developed to meet a real need. Every piece of customer feedback can help us improve the product.
From the prototype to the latest version
Today, when you look at a photo of the first prototype and compare it to the latest version of the Borweld Smart, you can see a huge difference.
The first prototype was just the beginning. It proved that the idea worked. But the latest version is the result of many months of work, testing, refinements, discussions with customers, and experience gained from actual repairs.
The machine has become more refined, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable, and professional.
But for us, appearance is only part of the story.
The most important thing is that this change is based on practical experience. Every detail matters, because every detail can affect the operator’s work.

A Polish product designed for real-world use
Borweld Smart is designed and manufactured in Poland. Approximately 90% of its parts come from Polish suppliers.
This is important to us not only for logistical reasons. It’s also part of our philosophy.
We want to develop a Polish product that can compete on international markets. We want to show that Poland can create practical, reliable, and modern solutions for companies that work with heavy equipment.
Today, our machines are already in operation in 15 countries. For us, this is the best proof that this direction makes sense.
Our goal is to have satisfied customers
It’s not the numbers themselves that are most valuable to us.
Shipping 70 machines marks an important milestone. Reaching 15 countries is a source of pride. But what matters most are the customers who use Borweld Smart in their work every day.
If our machine enables a customer to repair their own equipment, develop a mobile hole-recoating service, respond more quickly to breakdowns, and earn revenue from new orders—then we know our work is meaningful.
That is why we are constantly developing Borweld Smart.
We listen to our customers. We test new solutions. We refine the details. We develop new tools. We respond when a problem arises. And we take responsibility for the product we send out into the world.
Because for us, the Borweld Smart is more than just a machine.
It’s experience, support, technology, and partnership.
If you’d like to see what the Borweld Smart looks like and how it works in person, we invite you to visit us—for a tour of our production facility and a demonstration of the machine.
It’s best to see a Polish product in action.
