🔧 Line boring of hydraulic press VIC1000
With this post, we begin a series of publications dedicated to our most interesting and challenging projects of the last 10 years.
On a daily basis, we present the standard work of regeneration of holes in excavators and other construction machinery,
but in fact, over the years we have also participated in many industrial projects – overhaul of presses, harbor cranes, ships, production lines and power equipment.
One such project was the line boring of a VIC1000 hydraulic press with a length of about 8 meters.
The structure contained 34 worn holes that required machining for bronze bushings.
The entire process took about 7 days, of which 2 days were taken to carefully align and align the equipment.
The work was performed in 2019 in Minsk – at a time when the world looked very different.
For this project, we used Italian-made machines,
because the requirements for the diameter and length of the holes exceeded the capabilities of standard mobile equipment.
In such cases, not only the power of the drive is crucial, but also the rigidity of the entire system and the stability of the drill guidance over a long length.
